A global consulting firm in Singapore seeks an experienced Business Analyst to lead Agile development teams. The ideal candidate will have 9-10 years of experience, strong leadership skills, and familiarity with Agile methodologies. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders, maintaining product backlogs, and providing mentorship to team members. Experience with JIRA and Confluence is essential, along with a certification as a Scrum Product Owner or equivalent.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the business analysis efforts within Agile development teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to elicit and prioritize requirements.
• Create and maintain product backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to other business analysts on Agile best practices and methodologies
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Identify and address any impediments or risks that may impact project delivery.
• Continuously monitor project progress and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
• Min 9 - 10 years' experience required, IT related tertiary education.
• Proven experience of at least 5 -6 years' in a lead role.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA & Confluence.
• Certification as a Scrum Product Owner or Certified Scrum Master or equivalent is a must.
• Having business analysis work experience with SG Public Sector is a plus.
• Having business analysis work experience with large scale digital transformation projects is a plus.
