Working hours: 08.00am – 5.30pm or 08.30am – 6.00pm (Monday to Friday)

Job Summary

We are seeking a versatile and detail‑oriented Business Analyst to support digital platforms and operational systems within the Sustainable Energy Solutions Digital Services Team.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable balancing operational Business‑as‑Usual (BAU) support, translating requirements, product development coordination, and multi‑project management. Experience with data‑driven platforms, billing or financial workflows, metering/IoT systems data or dashboarding/visualisation tools is a strong advantage.

The role requires end‑to‑end business analysis and operational support for digital platforms, ensuring smooth onboarding of landlords, process optimisation, and delivery of high‑quality solutions while supporting BAU activities.

Job Responsibilities
Requirements & Analysis
  • Gather and analyze business requirements for system enhancements, user onboarding and operational workflows.
  • Understand complex business processes such as billing scenarios, utility meters visualisation and/or accounting flows.
  • Design reports and generate build specifications based on user requirements.
  • Design new or improve existing features based on finance user requirements.
Product Development Support
  • Participate in feature refinement discussions and support the product owners in planning development initiatives.
  • Communicate requirements to developers and UI/UX teams; ensure alignment on the requirements.
  • Support sprint activities by preparing test scenarios, clarifying queries and validating delivery readiness.
  • Perform functional testing and coordinate UAT including preparation of test data, end‑to‑end flows and acceptance sign‑off.
BAU Support
  • Perform data preparation, validation and checks for operational cycles or onboarding processes.
  • Execute data migration tasks during system updates or new implementations.
  • Respond to business queries and troubleshoot system issues. Troubleshoot issues, log defects, track resolution progress, and ensure timely closure.
Process Documentation
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation including process flows, SOPs and system guides.
  • Create training materials for internal teams, customers and stakeholders.
Testing & Deployment
  • Facilitate bug fixing, track resolution progress, and ensure timely closure.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support deployment activities.
  • Assist in QA strategy and contribute to test automation initiatives
Stakeholder Management
  • Act as a liaison between DSM, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for new team members.
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements.
  • Contribute to roadmap planning and recommend enhancements based on user feedback and system performance.
Job Requirements
  • 3–5 years in business analysis or similar roles.
  • Exposure to UAT coordination, bug tracking, and deployment support.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data preparation, manipulate formulas and perform data validation, cleansing, reconciliation and analysis.
  • Familiarity with data migration processes, validation techniques, and tooling.
  • Experience with digital platforms such as billing systems, workflow systems, ERP, CRM, IoT platforms or dashboarding platforms is a strong plus.
  • Self‑starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable in fast‑paced environments with tight deadlines.
  • Strong collaboration skills across business and technical teams.
  • Comfortable collaborating with technical teams working in different time zones outside office hours.
