The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Zurich APAC team, as part of our dedicated team executing on our regional digital distribution strategy - Zurich Edge. We’re looking for a Business Analyst with great problem‑solving and stakeholder management skills to help drive execution and implementation for key partners such as leading car manufacturers, telcos and travel operators in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Implementation: Collaborate with delivery teams across APAC to implement high‑priority projects, leading BAs across multiple projects and in Agile methodology.
  • Engage with stakeholders, SMEs and other BAs: Manage deliverables such as user stories, process diagrams, functional specs, walkthroughs, Q&A sessions, sign‑offs, and production handovers.
  • Work with business teams: Facilitate discussions, present information, problem‑solve and implement alternative solutions where required.
  • Work with Delivery Leads and Product Owners: Prioritize and refine the product backlog.
  • Support UAT activity: as required.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
    • Build strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor and making recommendations.
    • Provide clear, timely communication to keep stakeholders well‑informed and avoid surprises.
    • Provide status updates to senior management and liaise with external partners and vendors as needed.
  • Process Improvement & Facilitation:
    • Facilitate business changes and drive continuous process and operational improvements, with a particular focus on the adoption of Agile methodology and best practice.
    • Foster a creative and innovative team environment, facilitating communication and resolving disagreements.
Qualifications (Required)
  • Understanding of the end‑to‑end insurance value chain, products, processes, regulations, and market trends.
  • Understanding of Agile practices, including backlog management, writing user stories, and facilitating Agile ceremonies.
  • Experience working with all stakeholders from technical to business roles, and pro‑active change management.
  • Demonstration of analytical thinking, problem‑solving and coming up with innovative solutions that solve practical business challenges.
  • Proven experience managing and delivering services in complex, fast‑paced environments where ambiguity or contention in support requirements is often present.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to conduct system analysis and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong communication & organizational skills and the ability to manage a variety of competing tasks and stakeholders.
Qualifications (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence systems as collaboration tools like Mural.
  • Experience working on large‑scale IT systems consisting of multiple integrated applications.
