Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Functional Business Analyst with Bullion experience to join our Singapore team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on exposure to the precious metals (gold, silver) market, with strong analytical and operational expertise in bullion trading, settlement, and risk management. The role involves working closely with the bullion desk, treasury, finance, and compliance teams to ensure smooth execution and reporting of bullion-related business.

Responsibilities
  • Support daily bullion trading activities including trade capture, confirmations, settlements, and reconciliations.
  • Conduct financial and business analysis of bullion business performance, P&L reporting, and market trends.
  • Assist in risk monitoring, pricing, and valuation of bullion trades and positions.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (treasury, operations, compliance) for regulatory and audit requirements related to bullion.
  • Prepare management reports, MIS dashboards, and variance analysis for bullion business performance.
  • Work with technology teams to enhance system workflows and ensure automation of bullion operations where possible.
  • Monitor global bullion markets, competitor activity, and regulatory developments in Singapore and key markets.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
  • 8 years of experience in banking/financial services with direct exposure to bullion trading/operations/analysis.
  • Strong understanding of precious metals markets, pricing, and settlement processes.
  • Knowledge of treasury products and risk management frameworks is preferred.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and financial analysis.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with MAS regulations and compliance requirements related to bullion is an advantage.
