Job description
The Role

You will be leading and building the Broker Enablement function - a core operational team that drives broker performance, efficiency, and client satisfaction. As the Broker Operations Lead, you will spend your time leading and developing the team while working hands‑on with brokers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of operational processes.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading and mentoring a small team of enablement executives, providing coaching, guidance, and regular performance feedback.
  • Building and refining operational frameworks to standardize documentation, renewals, and policy processes across business lines.
  • Partnering with brokers, underwriters, and internal teams to coordinate complex cases and ensure client deliverables are completed with accuracy and speed.
  • Working hands‑on with documentation, renewals, policy endorsements, and broker system updates when needed, setting the operational standard for the team.
  • Driving process improvements, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing automation or workflow enhancements that support broker productivity.
  • Collaborating cross‑functionally with the Technical Administration and Operations teams to maintain compliance, alignment, and service excellence.
  • Developing and maintaining enablement resources (templates, training materials, guides) and ensuring smooth onboarding for new brokers or team members.
  • Leveraging technology and data, including Copilot tools, to optimize reporting, accuracy, and decision‑making insights.
Ideal Profile
  • You have at least 6 years of experience within insurance broking, reinsurance, or financial services operations, ideally supporting brokers or underwriting teams.
  • You have prior experience working within treaty reinsurance or P&C (Property & Casualty) environments, giving you a solid understanding of complex broking operations and portfolio‑based risk management.
  • You have proven team leadership experience and enjoy mentoring and guiding others toward growth and accountability.
  • You are hands‑on, comfortable rolling up your sleeves to manage operational details while steering the team’s priorities.
  • You are structured and detail‑oriented, ensuring documentation, renewals, and processes meet both client and compliance standards.
  • You are a strong communicator and collaborator, able to coordinate effectively between brokers, clients, and underwriters.
  • You have solid analytical and reporting skills, with proficiency in Excel, Word, and Teams, and ideally experience using Copilot tools for productivity and insights.
  • You are naturally curious and improvement‑driven, constantly seeking ways to make processes smarter, faster, and more efficient.
  • You are calm under pressure, adaptable, and lead by example, balancing quality with delivery speed.
The Offer
  • Lead a core operational function within one of Asia’s most established and expanding insurance broking firms
  • Shape the efficiency and culture of a team that directly impacts client delivery and business outcomes
  • Join a company that values collaboration, accountability, and long‑term growth
