About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Bread and Pastry Trainer to join our team. This role is a unique opportunity for an individual with exceptional technical expertise and a strong desire to grow into a leadership position. You will be responsible for training and mentoring our bakery team, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This position is a direct pipeline to becoming a Bakery Section Head, where you will lead and execute the aspect of baking, new initiative implementation and training in the outlets , from production and quality control to inventory and team management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Development:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for all new and existing bakery staff on bread, pastry, and gifting production.

    • Conduct hands‑on workshops and one‑on‑one coaching sessions to improve technical skills, including mixing, kneading, proofing, shaping, and decorating.

    • Create and update training materials, including recipes, step‑by‑step guides, and instructional videos.

  • Operational Excellence:

    • Maintain and enforce strict adherence to our quality standards and recipes to ensure consistency across all products.

    • Oversee daily production schedules and workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.

    • Monitor and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained and orders are placed in a timely manner.

    • Cost of Goods Management, Manpower Productivity

  • Leadership and Mentorship (Future Leader Focus):

    • Act as a mentor to the bakery team, fostering a positive, collaborative, and high‑performance work environment.

    • Identify and develop future leaders within the team, providing guidance and opportunities for growth.

    • Take an active role in problem‑solving and decision‑making for the bakery department, demonstrating readiness for a leadership position.

  • Innovation and Creativity:

    • Stay current with industry trends and techniques, introducing new and innovative recipes and products to our menu.

    • Experiment with new ingredients and methods to enhance product quality and appeal.

Required Qualifications
