Job summary

A boutique law firm is seeking a Bookkeeper cum Office Manager to join its Singapore office. The ideal candidate will have 3–4 years of relevant experience, handle accounting records, financial transactions, and office administration tasks. Experience in a local or foreign law firm and familiarity with accounting software like Xero is advantageous. Excellent organisational skills and a good command of English are essential. This full-time position is on-site and open only to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents.

  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a full set of accounting records.
  • Record daily financial transactions and perform bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Process invoices, payments, expenses, payroll, and CPF submissions.
  • Assist with statutory compliance and liaise with external accountants.
  • Manage day-to-day office administration and operations.

Company Description: Agmon Law is a boutique law firm specialising in intellectual property and commercial law across Singapore and the United States. The firm’s practice includes IP filing and prosecution, licensing, commercial transactions, litigation, arbitration, and mediation.

Job Title: Bookkeeper cum Office Manager

Job Description: Agmon Law is seeking a Bookkeeper cum Office Manager with 3–4 years of relevant experience to join its Singapore office on a full-time, on-site basis.

Experience in a local or foreign law firm and familiarity with Xero accounting software will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a full set of accounting records, including general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
  • Record daily financial transactions and perform bank reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
  • Process invoices, payments, expenses, payroll, and CPF submissions
  • Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns (F5) and maintain GST records
  • Assist with statutory compliance and liaise with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors
  • Manage day-to-day office administration and operations
  • Maintain corporate records and support company secretarial matters
  • Handle general administrative and ad-hoc duties as required
Position Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance or relevant professional qualifications, such as: ICB (Institute of Certified Bookkeepers); ACCA (partial qualification); ISCA technician-level credentials, or CAT (Certified Accounting Technician).
  • 2–4 years of relevant working experience in Singapore.
  • Experience with law firm accounting will be an advantage.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and sense of responsibility.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.

  • Position is open to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents only.

Work location: Singapore (on-site).
