Job summary

A growing engineering firm in Singapore seeks a BIM Specialist to develop and prepare detailed BIM models across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines. The ideal candidate will ensure timely delivery of BIM documentation, collaborate with project teams to resolve design conflicts, and maintain the company's BIM standards. Proficiency in BIM software like Autodesk Revit and Navisworks is essential, along with strong communication skills in English. Mandarin is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum education of a diploma or degree in a related discipline.
• Proficiency in BIM software including Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Strong communication skills in English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare detailed BIM models for architectural, structural, and/or MEP (Piping, HVAC, Plumbing, Sanitary, Electrical, etc.) disciplines in accordance with project requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models and manage the integration and clash detection process.
• Create, update, and maintain BIM documentation including construction/shop drawings, tender documents, and as-built models for submission to relevant authorities and project teams.
• Ensure timely delivery of BIM-related documents and drawings in line with the project schedule and submission deadlines.
• Develop and maintain the company's BIM standards, templates, and object libraries to ensure consistency and compliance across all projects.
• Conduct model quality checks to ensure accuracy, adherence to project standards, and compliance with BIM modelling requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve design conflicts and improve constructability using BIM coordination tools such as Navisworks or similar platforms.
• Support CSD meetings by presenting BIM models and providing technical input to aid decision-making and planning.

Requirements

• Minimum Education: Diploma or degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in BIM software, such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other relevant tools.
• Good communication skills in English (verbally and written) and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Understanding LTA submission requirements and building regulations is an added advantage.
