Bid Director

Job Title: Bid Director at Cushman & Wakefield. This role directs Bid Management across Asia Pacific, supporting commercial real estate client wins.

Overview

Lead sales-driven bid initiatives, develop market-leading bid platform, support business development, supervise APAC Bid Team, collaborate with Sales & Service teams.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Vision: Identify and strategically plan development of a market-leading pursuit management operation.
  • Leadership: Lead APAC bid function, provide support and insight to Enterprise sales teams, improve opportunity generation process, manage change program, champion market-leading processes, serve as ambassador for best practice bid management, maintain market intelligence, collaborate with regional counterparts.
  • Management: Accountable for bid standards and guidelines, communicate openly, solve problems proactively, develop Bid pipeline, support new systems for quality, align processes at global level, capture bid data, coach & mentor staff.
  • Delivery: Plan and manage bid from opening to closure, produce high-standard pre-qualification questionnaires, produce winning persuasive bids, manage bid plan, own bid process phases, manage relationships, develop standard bid responses, work closely with Business Development and Sales teams.
  • Key Success Metrics: Increase regional win rates, team development and retention, positive stakeholder/client feedback, best practice frameworks and bid innovation, revenue growth and strategic client wins.

Freedom to determine methods and policies for other positions, approve major decisions, determine methods for fulfilling responsibilities, set priorities for task completion.

Professional Experience
  • 12-15 years’ experience in bid management or business development, ideally within professional services or commercial real estate.
  • Demonstrated track record in leading large strategic bids across Asia Pacific.
  • Adobe Design Package experience will have an advantage.
  • Plan and execute bid planning workshops, manage, develop and build a team.
  • Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field (Postgraduate preferred).
  • >Exposure to cross-border multicultural teams and regional business dynamics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Adobe Creative Suite; pitch automation tools a plus.
