About the Role

You will oversee the full spectrum of beverage operations, from wine and spirits to cocktails and curated non-alcoholic pairings. You will lead a talented beverage team, drive innovation in beverage offerings, and collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and service leadership to deliver a seamless, elevated guest experience.

• Proven Beverage Leadership: Extensive experience leading wine, spirits, and beverage programs in Michelin-starred or luxury fine dining establishments.
• Strategic Visionary: Ability to create and implement beverage strategies that elevate guest experiences, optimize operations, and strengthen brand prestige.
• Inspirational Leader: Skilled in building, mentoring, and retaining high-performing beverage teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous growth.
• Operational Expertise: Strong knowledge of beverage P&L management, inventory control, cost optimization, staffing, and compliance with licensing and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of Restaurant Zén’s beverage program, ensuring excellence in service, presentation, and quality.
• Design and implement innovative beverage offerings, including wine, spirits, tea, coffee, and non-alcoholic pairings.
• Recruit, train, and develop beverage team members, promoting professional growth and staff retention.
• Oversee beverage financials, including P&L, inventory, pricing, margins, and cost management.
• Collaborate with Executive Chef and service leadership to ensure seamless pairing experiences that enhance the multi-course menu.
• Handle VIP guests and critical feedback with diplomacy and grace, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction.
• Maintain compliance with all liquor licensing, health, and safety regulations.
• Represent Restaurant Zén at tastings, industry events, and media opportunities, strengthening the brand’s global presence.
