Job summary

A solar energy solutions company in Singapore is looking for a Key Account Manager and a Business Development Executive. The roles involve leading negotiations for solar contracts, engaging potential customers, and conducting site assessments. A salary range of $3000-$4000 is offered, with bonuses available. Candidates with a Diploma or Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering are preferred, but training will be provided for inexperienced applicants. This is a full-time role with a 5-day workweek, Monday to Friday.

Summary
  • Salary range: $3000-$4000 (entitled for commission)

Responsibilities

Key Account Manager

  • Lead the structuring and negotiation of solar leasing and turnkey contracts.

  • Develop financial models to evaluate project feasibility and returns.

  • Prepare and submit proposals and tender bids, including follow-ups and presentations.

  • Drive sales performance to meet assigned targets for solar PV projects.

  • Collaborate closely with the Solar Project Management, O&M teams, and EPC contractors to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C&I clients, SP Services, regulatory authorities, government bodies, and key stakeholders.

Business Development Executive

  • Conduct cold calls to identify and engage potential residential customers for solar PV installations.

  • Carry out door-to-door canvassing for landed property homeowners to promote solar PV solutions.

  • Educate homeowners on the benefits of installing a solar PV system and generating their own electricity.

  • Assess residential sites to determine suitability for solar PV installation.

  • Prepare proposals and handle administrative documentation for submission to relevant authorities.

  • Coordinate closely with the installation team and Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) to manage projects and keep customers updated.

  • Provide after-sales support by addressing customer enquiries and concerns.

Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • Candidate without experience in this industry are welcome to apply, training will be provided.

  • Candidate with relevant work experience in the energy industry or renewable energy sector will have added advantage.
