Overview

Job responsibilities span guest-focused service in our restaurant and bar, with opportunities to work across multiple concepts including Spanish, Taiwanese and Japanese influences, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a friendly and diplomatic relationship with all prospective guests entering the restaurant or bar at all times.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of espresso-based and non-coffee beverages to high standards; craft and serve a diverse range of specialty coffee beverages with precision and consistency.
  • Organize the café for service and keep it clean at all times; maintain cleanliness and presentation of the coffee bar and equipment.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, making recommendations, and addressing inquiries promptly.
  • Ensure proper documentation of reservations, prepare table allocations, and coordinate with management to ensure smooth operations.
  • Follow and ensure adherence to procedures; assist with opening and closing duties; manage table maintenance and service areas.
  • Possess prior experience in a customer-facing role; training will be provided.
  • Support other revenue centers in the hotel, such as Rooms and Events, as required.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a waiter/waitress or customer-facing role preferred; passion for coffee, customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Ability to take orders, provide recommendations, and deliver consistent guest service.
  • Availability for a 5-day work week (as per posted schedule) with occasional variations as required.
