Job summary

A financial services company in Singapore is looking for a finance professional to manage supplier payments and fixed asset accounting. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of relevant experience and a recognized diploma in accounting. Familiarity with SUN accounting system and strong Excel skills are essential. The role focuses on financial reporting and bank reconciliation, providing a vital link within the finance team. This position is open to Singaporeans only.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable, fixed assets, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with SWIFT is preferred.
• Professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier payments in various currencies via SWIFT and internet banking.
• Manage fixed assets, including monthly depreciation and GL entries.
• Assist with monthly bank reconciliation and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.

Job description

• Process supplier payments in various currencies via SWIFT and internet banking.
• Manage fixed assets, including monthly depreciation and GL entries.
• Prepare recharge invoices for corporate events and ad hoc expenses.
• Assist with monthly bank reconciliation and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Set up counterparties in the Cloud Margin system and manage margin calls and cash floats.
• Prepare monthly client balance reconciliations and support MAS regulatory reporting.

Requirement

• Recognized diploma in accounting; professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA) are a plus.
• 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable, fixed assets, and financial reporting.
• Strong Excel skills; familiarity with SUN accounting system and SWIFT instructions is preferred.
• Knowledge of GST rules is advantageous.
