Key Responsibilities
  • Production:Handle the end-to-end baking process, including ingredient preparation, dough mixing, proofing, shaping, and baking.

  • Consistency:Maintain high standards of quality and consistency for all baked goods.

  • Kitchen Management:Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Ensure all food safety and hygiene protocols are strictly followed.

  • Inventory Control:Monitor stock levels of raw materials and assist in stock-taking to ensure smooth daily operations.

  • Workflow Optimization:Work efficiently to ensure all orders are ready for daily fulfillment.

Requirements
  • Experience:Prior experience in a bakery or commercial kitchen is preferred. Candidates with more experience will be considered for a Senior Baker role.

  • Certification:Valid Food Safety Course Level 1 certificate is required.

  • Skills:Good hand-shaping techniques and an understanding of dough behavior.

  • Stamina:Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and handle physical tasks.

  • Reliability:Punctual, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
