Global bank is seeking an experienced Level 2 Application Support analyst to provide production support for mission‑critical banking applications. The role will support various risk management banking application running Java and SQL expertise. You will work closely with development, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure application stability, compliance, and performance

Roles
  • Investigate and resolve complex production issues across banking applications, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes, with clear documentation and audit traceability.
  • Collaborate with development teams to deploy enhancements, bug fixes, and configuration changes in accordance with change management protocols.
  • Monitor application performance and conduct proactive tuning using SQL, ensuring compliance with MAS and internal SLAs.
  • Support incident response, release management, and post‑deployment validation, including coordination with business stakeholders and regulatory reporting teams.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in application support or software engineering, with strong proficiency in Java and SQL.
  • Proven track record in supporting banking applications in a regulated production environment.
  • Good working knowledge with RDMBS
  • Familiarity with risk management, or trading application will be a plus
  • Experience with ITIL processes and tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage business users, as well as development team
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
