Business Function

In Group Technology, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain network automation and monitoring systems.
  • Manage projects relating to automation initiatives.
  • Lead the design and development of automation solutions to streamline network provisioning, monitoring and configuration management works.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define and align automation initiatives with business goals.
  • Collaborate with network engineers and other IT teams to design and deploy network automation solutions.
  • Drive the implementation of automation solutions to integrate with diverse network infrastructure platforms.
  • Perform periodic assessments on automation solutions/workflows to identify and implement areas for improvement and enhancement.
  • Troubleshoot and implement fixes on automation issues in a timely manner to reduce interruption on service delivery.
  • Write new program code using prescribed specifications.
  • Analyse performance of programs and take action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users and approval of supervisor.
  • Write and maintain documentation of solutions, problems, and resolutions for future reference.
  • Stay current with the latest technologies and industry trends; make recommendations for improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual and repetitive tasks to improve efficiency.
  • Provide risk management inputs in supporting audits and regulatory inspections/examinations.
  • Create monitoring dashboard to enhance monitoring capabilities.

Requirements
  • Experience with web applications technologies (HTML, CSS, React etc.)
  • Experience with IT automation tools such as Ansible.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, including building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with automating configuration and provisioning on network infrastructure such as load balancers etc…
  • Advanced understanding of API (e.g REST API) integration, security protocols and automation methodologies.
  • Able to develop in both Unix and Windows environment.
  • Experience with managing network devices such as loadbalancers, switches, routers, firewalls etc...
  • Understanding of network technologies and domain in LAN/WAN and across multiple products like Cisco, Arista, F5 etc...
  • Experience in coding and customization for network management and monitoring products and/or platform like Nagios, ELK Stack, Netbrain etc...
