Business Function:

Group Strategic Marketing & Communications is responsible for building, protecting, and enhancing the DBS brand in an increasingly commoditised banking industry. Working closely with all units within the DBS Group, we create and execute integrated strategies that focus on communications especially digital communications, marketing, and research to differentiate - and elevate - our brand from the rest of the competition.

Job Purpose:

To drive the adoption and value realisation of Generative AI, Agentic AI and other emerging technologies, across the marketing function. This role exists to make marketing AI-enabled by championing innovation, governance, and capability building, ensuring that all teams leverage AI responsibly and effectively to deliver measurable impact.

Key Accountabilities:
  • AI Adoption & Advocacy – Lead the agenda for integrating Generative AI and Agentic AI into marketing processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Upskilling & Capability Building – Design and implement a comprehensive AI upskilling programme for marketing teams to foster confidence and competence in AI tools.
  • Governance & Compliance – Establish and enforce governance frameworks for AI use across brand campaigns, social media, and marketing communications at a bank-wide level.
  • Innovation & Impact Measurement – Drive AI-enabled innovation in marketing execution and develop metrics to monitor and measure impact.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with technology, data, compliance, and business teams to ensure responsible, scalable AI deployment.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a roadmap for Generative AI and Agentic AI adoption across marketing.
  • Act as the subject matter expert and evangelist for AI in marketing, advising leadership and teams on emerging trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Design and roll out an AI upskilling programme in partnership with HR, including training modules, workshops, and hands‑on sessions for marketing teams.
  • Develop brand-level governance and ethical guidelines for AI usage across marketing channels, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and brand integrity.
  • Lead pilot projects to validate AI-driven marketing initiatives and scale successful use cases across the organisation.
  • Monitor industry developments and continuously identify opportunities for AI-driven innovation, ensuring marketing remains competitive and future‑ready.
  • Track and report on AI adoption progress and its impact on marketing performance.
Requirements:
  • 5–8 years of experience in marketing, digital strategy, or related fields.
  • Proven track record of implementing technology-driven marketing solutions.
  • Exposure to AI applications in marketing (Generative AI, Agentic AI) or strong interest with demonstrable learning initiatives.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and change management.
Education/Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Advanced certifications in AI, machine learning, or digital marketing are advantageous.
  • Strategic thinking with a strong innovation mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and evangelise AI adoption.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage complex projects.
  • Problem‑solving through lateral thinking and persistent innovation.
  • Strong advocacy and change management skills to bring teams along the transformation journey.
  • Understanding of Generative AI tools and platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Gemini, Midjourney, Canva) and their marketing applications.
  • Familiarity with Agentic AI concepts (autonomous agents, workflow orchestration).
  • Knowledge of marketing technology stacks a plus (CRM, automation tools, analytics platforms).
  • Data interpretation and ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
