Overview
Assists in AV equipment set up. Resolves audio and video issues faced by staff and students. Responsible for AV equipment and conduct stock-taking and inventory checking periodically. Covers duties of other ICT members in their absence.
Responsibilities
- Sets up and operates AV equipment as per requirements (daily use and school functions) as well as provide AV related expertise on equipment set-up
- Prepares and set up the Audio Visual room for teachers to conduct their lessons, presentations and meetings
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots computer system problems and provides assistance to teachers, students and staff
- Maintains proper records of AV related issues faced and maintenance required
- Tracks the use of AV equipment and conducts periodic stocktaking and inventory checks
- Keeps track of and ensures necessary equipment in classrooms are available and well maintained as well as perform regular maintenance on all electrical equipment
- Manages audio visual equipment booking
People Interaction
- Conduct training to equip staff and students with knowledge on operation of audio-visual equipment, video recording and editing of school events as well as existing or new equipment that can support teaching and learning
- Liaises with and supervises external vendor in the troubleshoot of AV-related problems
Job Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications Higher Nitec / Diploma
- Experience 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Working Days / Hours Monday – Friday : 9am – 5.30pm; Saturdays : 9am – 1pm
