Qualifications

Job description

The Automation Test Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks to ensure the accuracy, reliability, performance, and compliance of ERP & QC systems. The role supports QC management , operations and back office reporting through ERP system.

Test Automation Development

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for trading and ETRM/CTRM systems
• Build reusable automation frameworks for UI, API, database, and regression testing
• Automate test scenarios for fastener order capture, pricing, P&L, risk, settlement, and invoicing

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in test automation frameworks
• 5+ years of experience in information technology, specifically in software engineering or testing automation roles and attaining Testing-related certification, such as ISTQB is a plus.
• Previous experience in API testing using available API testing tools in the market or custom scripts.
• Ability to create reusable testing scripts that integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient in writing and automating complex SQL queries and test DB code.
• Experience with key web technologies such as HTML/CSS, AJAX, Bootstrap, and REST protocol.
• Great team player with and independent self-starter attitude.
• Possess excellent communication skills and is comfortable communicating with senior management.
• Willingness to learn and re-learn when best practices evolve.
