Working day: Monday – Friday
Working Hour: 8:30am - 5:30pm
Salary range: $4,000 - $5,500
Location: Woodlands Ave (Nearest mrt: Admiralty)

Job Summary

A key role in the design, development, and testing of industrial robotic equipment and machines. You will be responsible for creating electrical control systems, producing schematic drawings, sourcing control components, and ensuring the proper setup and tuning of control systems. Additionally, you will provide technical support on-site and maintain detailed documentation, with a focus on Technical Construction Files (TCF).

Responsibilities

1. Project Analysis and Design:

  • Analyze project requirements for industrial robotic equipment/machines.
  • Design, develop, and test electrical control systems for industrial automation.

2. Electrical Schematic Drawings:

  • Create detailed electrical schematic drawings using E3 (or ePLAN as a second option).
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness in documentation.

3. Component Selection and Procurement:

  • Source and select control components based on project specifications.
  • Place orders for control components and coordinate with suppliers.

4. Control System Setup:

  • Execute control system setup, including IO system configuration, servo and step drive setup, and axis tuning.
  • Ensure the proper functioning and integration of control components.

5. Technical Support:

  • Provide on-site technical support during the installation and commissioning of robotic equipment/machines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and control system issues.

6. Documentation:

  • Maintain detailed documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Emphasize compliance with Technical Construction Files (TCF) standards.
Requirements
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Min 4 years of experience in designing and implementing control systems for electrical machines.
  • Proficiency in programming PLCs, HMIs, and motor drives.
  • Experience with CAD software for electrical design (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, E3, EPLAN).
  • Strong knowledge of control theory, electrical circuits, and automation.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., IEC, IEEE, NEC).
