Job summary

A reputable auditing firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced auditor to perform statutory audits and manage client engagements. You will work closely with a team, ensuring deadlines are met while training junior staff. Ideal candidates have a recognized degree in Accountancy and 4-5 years of relevant experience. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • 4 - 5 years’ experience in audit firm or equivalent.
  • Proactive and positive attitude towards challenges.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in technology and work independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform statutory audit under Singapore Audit Standard.
  • Manage engagements and ensuring deliverables meet work plan specifications and deadlines.
  • Manage audit engagement timeline.
  • Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to managers and partners.
  • Assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties.
  • Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating audit partners/managers on progress.
  • Instructing and give training juniors in the workplace.
  • Carry out ad-hoc duties, when assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • A recognised degree in Accountancy or professional qualifications such as CA Singapore, ACCA, CPA Australia or equivalent
  • 4 - 5 years’ experience in audit firm or equivalent
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with customers and cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent business acumen
  • Strong team leadership & people management skills.
  • Proactive and have a positive attitude towards challenges.
  • The ability to adapt to changes in technology and able to work independently.
