Roles & Responsibilities

Audit Manager (Full-Time)

We are a growing audit firm in Singapore providing statutory audit and external assurance services to a wide range of clients. We are looking for an experienced Audit Manager to oversee audit engagements, lead audit teams, and ensure high standards of audit quality and client service. This role is suited for a technically competent professional with strong leadership and client management skills.

Key Responsibilities
Audit Engagement Oversight
  • Manage and review audit engagements from planning through to finalisation

  • Assess audit risks and design appropriate audit approaches and procedures

  • Review audit documentation and financial statements to ensure compliance with Singapore Standards on Auditing (SSA) and SFRS

  • Ensure audits are completed within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality expectations

Team Leadership & Supervision
  • Supervise, guide, and mentor audit seniors and associates

  • Assign tasks, track engagement progress, and provide ongoing coaching and support

  • Participate in staff performance evaluations and contribute to training and team development initiatives

Client Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients on audit-related matters

  • Maintain effective and professional relationships with clients

  • Discuss audit findings, key issues, and recommendations clearly with clients and stakeholders

  • Provide practical insights on accounting, internal controls, and compliance matters

Technical & Professional Standards
  • Stay updated on changes to accounting standards, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Support the team on technical or complex audit and accounting matters
  • Ensure all engagements comply with firm policies, professional standards, and regulatory guidelines
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field

At least 4–6 years of audit experience in a public accounting firm, including 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity

Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Good analytical thinking with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively

Able to perform well under pressure and meet challenging timelines
