Job summary

A dynamic educational organization in Singapore is seeking instructors to conduct Journalism training programs and teach videography skills to students in MOE schools. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching, be MOE eIRS registered, and possess the knowledge to guide students in creating digital media content. This part-time role requires availability on weekdays between 8am and 5pm.

Job Scope
  • Conduct Journalism training programmes and lessons for students in MOE schools (mainly primary and secondary) across various locations in Singapore.
  • Teach broadcast, journalism, video production skills including storyboarding, filming techniques, lighting, sound, and editing.
  • Guide students in creating short films, school projects, or digital media content.
  • Related training areas may include Journalism, Media, Photography, Digital Art, Stop Motion, and New Media.
Job Requirements
  • Must be MOE eIRS (Instructor Registration System) registered or currently in the process of applying. (Kindly state this clearly in your application/resume)
  • Minimum A-Level / Diploma / Higher Nitec or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong passion and technical knowledge in videography, including use of cameras, video equipment, and editing software.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to inspire students.
  • Must enjoy teaching and working with children & teenagers.
  • Available on weekdays between 8am – 5pm.
  • Teaching and/or industry experience in journalism, videography would be an advantage.
