Job Summary

• Responsible for receiving, storing and distribution of materials and equipment within the warehouse
• Pick, Pack and Dispatch of goods and materials
• Managing all warehousing & inventory related functions (housekeeping, inventory accuracy, etc…)
• Liaise with forwarding partners or customer appointed forwarders for dispatching of shipments
• Liaise closely with EFD Business Liaison for incoming, outgoing and customer related issues.

Main Responsibilities/Accountabilities

Warehousing Duties:

• Perform physical and system Goods Receipt, with proper verification against documents.
• Perform Pick, Pack & Dispatch of materials
• Perform system Post Goods Issue for materials dispatched
• Maintain proper housekeeping of warehouse and tools
• Perform special instruction packaging (labelling / COC / repackaging)

Transportation Arrangements:

• Preparation and collation of shipping documents for planned shipments
• Perform booking of shipments with identified forwarding partners
• Liaison with forwarding partners for shipment dispatch, and/or shipment deliveries where applicable
• Highlight any unforeseen circumstances to Sales/Customer Service Specialist/Customer for mitigation

Inventory Control:

• Ensure proper housekeeping of inventory
• Perform re-packaging of materials, where required
• Perform proper labelling of materials, where required
• Execute regular cycle count and annual Stock count
• Maintain the highest level of inventory accuracy
• Highlight & troubleshoot any inventory discrepancy at the earliest
• Coordinate ordering of supplies for warehousing and transportation purpose

Document Control:

• Ensure proper filing of documents generated from each transaction
• Ensure full set of shipping documents are properly collated, in compliance of regulatory/audit requirements
• Follow-up with forwarding partners to obtain BL/AWB for all export shipment, where required
• Assist in maintenance of work processes documents

Others (where applicable within the region):

• Maintain Purchase Info Record for locally procured parts
• Perform Purchasing processing in system for local purchases, where required

Job Requirements

• Min Vocational certification or GCE O/N Level Pass, Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Logistics Management highly desired
• Min 3 – 5 years in logistics/warehouse operations (receiving, pick & pack, dispatching, housekeeping)
• Min 2 years in International Shipping arrangements preferred
• SAP LE experience will be preferred, and SAP MM experience will be highly desired
