Job Description:Support the Executives and Manager of Clinical & Health Informatics Office (CHIO) in the governance and strategic delivery of the hospital informatics strategic roadmap through the intelligent use of health informatics to facilitate the optimal delivery of patient care. Key responsibilities include performing daily tasks as a Data Integrity Specialist (DIS) and supporting delivery of governance portfolios and informatics projects.

The Challenges

  • Perform routine tasks and investigations to ensure integrity of data in the hospital’s electronic medical record (EMR) system, such as merging of patient’s records, correction of records flagged, ensuring medication orders and discharge summaries are signed.
  • Support in managing requests for system access, audits, training and notifications to access the EMR system, engaging management for review.
  • Liaise with staff across the hospital and vendors including doctors, nurses and HODs to review and close off tasks.
  • Provide admin and secretariat support to informatics committees and projects

Requirements

  • Diploma in any field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Meticulous, responsible and possess strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Experience in EPIC electronic medical records system is a plus.
