Responsibilities
- Perform and facilitate registration (including visits creation), billing and payment collection to ensure accurate billing, and assist in prescription processing to ensure seamless operation of Pharmacy and ensure wait time targets are met.
- Perform billing-related tasks, including billing rectifications, batch billing, billing to third party payers, to ensure patients' needs are being attended to and an overall positive experience at the Pharmacy
- Facilitate the resolution of billing-related issues, which includes authorising SAP receipt cancellation.
- Manage billing-related enquiries; perform online adjustment for billing refunds.
- Assist Pharmacy Technician in reconciliation of the drop charges report.
- Train staff on medication billing processes and update training materials.
- Assist in supporting the ground during billing system slowness or downtime procedures.
- Maintain timely and accurate records of patients’ information.
- Support Pharmacy Billing Team in-charge to perform billing administrative work.
- Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Relevant Diploma; preferably with 3 years working experience in service industry
- Public healthcare billing experiences are welcomed
- Good background on MOH healthcare financing knowledge will give an edge
- Meticulous, analytical, and possess good organizational and coordination skills as well as good interpersonal and communication skills
- Driven, pro-active, strong team player, independent and service minded
- Able to exercise initiative, manage stress and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to excel at handling multiple hospital systems
- Knowledge in using SAP system will be advantageous
- Multi-lingual with proficiency in more than one Asian language will be an added advantage
