A financial regulatory authority in Singapore is seeking a candidate to manage the Automated Materials Handling System (AMHS) for currency issuance. You will oversee daily operations, support upgrade projects, and coordinate with vendors to ensure optimal AMHS performance. The ideal applicant holds a degree in Technology or Engineering and has at least one year of relevant experience. Strong communication and analytical skills are necessary, and the role may require weekend or after-hours work.
You will be part of a team in the Currency Department that is responsible for managing the Automated Materials Handling System (AMHS) that supports the issuing, receiving and processing of Singapore currency notes.
Details of the team’s roles and responsibilities are as follows:
Manage the AMHS to ensure the daily currency issuance activities are carried out efficiently and accurately
Support implementation of the AMHS upgrading project in areas such as on-site work preparation and supervision, coordination with vendors, user-acceptance testing and contract management
Manage AMHS vendors to achieve optimal performance of the AMHS and ensure contractual requirements are met
Administer the AMHS preventive system maintenance and security patching activities
Manage the AMHS spare parts and consumables inventories
Requirements :
Degree in Technology, Engineeringor equivalent qualifications
Minimum one year of work experience, preferably in material-handling operations, operations engineering or supply chain automation operations
Good interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
Able to work on weekends and after office hours when required
Able to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities and needs of stakeholders and be able to respond to changes and developments quickly
