Job Purpose
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Vice President - Marketing to join our team during this exciting phase of growth to drive our Southeast Asia & North Asia marketing activities. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing omni-channel marketing campaigns that drive regional business growth. Working closely with senior management and key stakeholders across the organization, you will support strategic marketing initiatives that capture new business opportunities and scale our market presence. The ideal candidate will bring a comprehensive understanding of modern marketing disciplines, combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution capabilities. You will have the autonomy to make meaningful impact while collaborating with leadership to deliver campaigns that are both effective and innovative. Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will support and help execute the group’s global omni channel marketing activities including PR, digital & social, events and internal communications, with strong focus on localizing activities to drive marketing and brand presence for the business in Southeast Asia and North Asia.
- Drive and develop content and marketing materials for South East Asia and North Asia wealth and asset management clients.
- Manage and execute day-to-day marketing activities, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
- Coordinate with external resources and vendors such as PR agencies, design agencies, website developers, translators, etc for high-quality marketing materials and campaign assets and smooth delivery of marketing campaigns.
- Work closely with key stakeholders and internal teams including relationship managers, investment consultants, portfolio/fund managers, institutional sales, investor relations to manage and implement marketing activities and processes to support business activities.
- Liaise with regional and global teams to ensure brand consistency and campaign alignment.
- Coordinate marketing and branding activities for corporate events, client engagement programs, and roadshows. Manage event logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site execution.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of marketing experience in Fintech, Financial Services, Asset/Wealth Management, Private/Investment Banking industry.
- Understanding of financial services and various financial instruments.
- Strong commercial acumen, with a proven track record of delivering successful campaigns that meet or exceed business objectives.
- Strong understanding and experience of marketing operations and digital marketing with a rounded and solid understanding of different marketing techniques.
- Strong project management skills and problem-solving ability, including metrics-driven thinking.
- Strong organization and project management skills and the capacity to manage multiple complex projects at once.
- Good interpersonal and relationships skills, with the ability to influence others in a collaborative and positive manner to achieve results in a cross-functional setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Chinese proficiency (both written and spoken) is required to communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders in Greater China region.
