A premier hotel in Singapore seeks an Assistant Sales Manager to drive business growth and manage corporate accounts. Responsibilities include generating new business, establishing client relationships, and executing sales strategies to meet revenue targets. Candidates should possess a diploma or degree in Business Administration or Hotel Management with at least 5 years' experience in a comparable role. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.
The Asst Sales Manager will work closely with the Assistant Director of Sales / Director of Sales to drive business growth, explore new opportunities, and expand existing accounts. Your responsibilities will include managing corporate accounts, generating new business, and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
Manage an assigned portfolio of corporate accounts, driving revenue growth and increasing market share.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Provide total account management, ensuring a seamless experience for clients.
Conduct direct sales calls, telesales, and written communication to generate new business.
Identify and pursue new corporate clients to maximize revenue potential.
Organize and conduct property site inspections and client entertainment activities as needed.
Submit timely proposals, corporate rate agreements, and RFPs.
Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify business opportunities.
Participate in daily briefings, business development meetings, and other hotel activities to support business operations.
Assist in designing and implementing strategic sales plans to expand market reach
Other ad-hoc duties as assigned according to needs of business and hotel
Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel Management or a Diploma in Hotel Management with 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity.
Proven track records of achieving revenue in a 4 to 5-Star Hotel .
Driven, self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal, spoken and written communication skills.
An excellent team player who is able to work under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with corporate clients.
Knowledge of the local hospitality market and competitive landscape.
