Dolce&Gabbana, a leader in the world of luxury fashion, has an exceptional opportunity within its new in-house Beauty Division, for an Assistant Sales Manager, APAC based in Singapore.

Dolce&Gabbana Beauty is looking for an analytical, proactive, multi-tasking and hands-on Assistant Sales Manager, APAC. This is a fantastic opportunity for motivated individuals who will play an important role in supporting the sales strategy for the APAC region. This is a key role in a high-growth environment, our ideal candidate is driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to positively impact the organization. DG Beauty is a new regional set-up, with the opportunity to create something unique and special. Strong data analysis and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate, plan and communicate with APAC Distributors and Retailers is crucial.

How you will contribute
  • Support the APAC Sales team in building collaborative and influential partnerships with APAC Distributors and Retailers to execute the APAC sales vision and grow distribution and profitability APAC
  • Engage with selected Distributors in Joint Business Plan negotiations, methodically track performance, drive correction plans and incremental opportunities to ensure annual Sales and Profitability targets are met
  • Support commercial negotiations with Distributors and Retailers to maximize investments, distribution, location, range, NPD launches and brand initiatives
  • Demonstrate accountability to drive Sales, Distributor Performance, identify gap analysis for Sales and Partners and build top of mind share with Partners, Retailers
  • Engage Retailers, identify unique and tailor-made tools/solutions to unlock opportunities
  • Analyse sales data, track performance and succinctly summarize key findings to support Sales Managers and Distributors adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Support achieving or exceeding quarterly, seasonal, and annual sales goals. Consistently deliver on commitments, proactively communicate solutions to capture upside revenue or mitigate downside risk to the goal.
  • Support Sales Managers in their specific markets in APAC and execute strategic business initiatives
  • Actively manage and update regional assortment and pricing corridors to ensure consistent brand execution and maximize Sales opportunities
  • Build, track and adjust annual forecasts alongside close monitoring of trade stock levels and sales performance
  • Support on-ground execution of sales, training and promotional activities in selected Markets and Retailers
  • Collaborate with the Marketing function to plan and deliver seasonal/annual launch and brand plans with Retailers
  • Manage supply and shipment plans with Supply Chain function to ensure alignment to annual Marketing and Sales plans
  • Cross functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Assist in ad hoc sales-related tasks as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
  • 4-6 years of relevant Sales experience, including experience covering APAC
  • Beauty industry experience and strong affinity for Luxury Goods
  • Strong data analytical skills and ability to succinctly summarize findings and recommendations
  • Competent in Sales fundamentals; planning, closely tracking performance, adapting and modifying plans, building recommendations and executing plans flawlessly
  • Passionate and motivated by delivering and tangibly seeing results along with a strong ownership mindset
  • Demonstrated strong communication and presentation skills
  • Able to work independently and confident navigating complex and ambiguous scenarios
  • Customer focused with expertise understanding Partners’ and their customers' needs
  • Highly entrepreneurial with a ‘start-up mentality’, at ease working with ambiguity and within a lean support structure, willingness to learn new things getting out of the comfort zone
  • Creative thinker with solution orientated mindset
  • Ability to work and co-ordinate projects in a flexible and fast-changing environment

  • Open to business travel outside of Singapore
