Are you an experienced Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) ready to take on a pivotal support role within a leading Private Bank?

A Leading Global Private Bank is seeking a dedicated Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) to join its Private Banking team in Southeast Asia. This permanent role is crucial for supporting top Private Bankers and ensuring a high-quality service experience for our clients.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the regional Lead , you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to our clients, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and professionally. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process account opening documentation and support end-to-end onboarding.
• Execute and confirm client banking instructions and resolve any issues promptly and effectively.
• Provide comprehensive daily support for client enquiries (account status, transfers, rates, payments, etc.) and accurately maintain client records.
• Assist Private Bankers with administrative tasks and client requests.
• Prepare and submit credit applications and assist with monitoring loan/collateral positions.
• Assist with account maintenance, monitoring client positions and ensuring timely follow-ups.
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure seamless delivery of services.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the client experience.
• Participate in ad hoc tasks, projects, and provide backup support as required.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal procedures.

Skills & Experience Required

• Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience as an Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM).
• Education & Industry Knowledge: A good degree and understanding of the private banking industry.
• Regulatory Status: Current RNF holder status and holder of CACS Paper 1 and 2.
• Language Proficiency: Language proficiency in Mandarin (both read and write) is required, as the role will be supporting Private Bankers with Chinese clients.
• Market Background: A good understanding of China market/background is preferred.
• Core Competencies: High attention to detail with excellent organisational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under time constraints.
• Mindset: Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team player with a proactive and solutions-driven mindset, demonstrating a high level of integrity and professionalism.
