Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically competent Assistant Project Manager to support and drive our construction projects—particularly Addition & Alteration (A&A) works. The ideal candidate is well-versed in project documentation, independent in managing daily operations, and capable of preparing strong technical submissions and tender proposals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of Addition & Alteration (A&A) projects in accordance with project schedules, safety requirements, and quality standards.
  • Manage full project documentation including submissions, method statements, shop drawings, permits, correspondences, and all project-related records.
  • Establish, implement, and ensure compliance with project SOPs, QA/QC processes, and workflow controls.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities to ensure smooth project progression.
  • Monitor site progress, manpower allocation, and material deliveries; report issues proactively and propose solutions.
  • Prepare tender write-ups, technical proposals, construction methodologies, and other submission documents.
  • Assist in budgeting, cost tracking, variation order preparation, and procurement activities.
  • Support the Project Manager in managing risk assessments, site audits, and project meetings.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architectural Technology, or relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in A&A projects or general building works in Singapore.
  • Strong knowledge of project documentation control, site processes, and regulatory submission requirements.
  • Independent worker with strong ownership, discipline, and ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Competent in preparing technical proposals, tender submissions, and method statements.
  • Good communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project/ is an advantage.
