The Engineering Systems and Design (ESD) pillar within the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) is pursuing multiple, exceptional tenure-track/tenured faculty hires at all levels.

About SUTD and ESD

Job Requirements for Tenure-track/Tenured Faculty

We seek to fill positions in several areas including but not restricted to statistical and machine learning (ML), artificial intelligence (AI), operations research, data science, and industrial and systems engineering, with applications to healthcare, sustainability, supply chains and logistics, urban mobility, and quantitative finance.

The successful candidates should be specialised in an engineering systems-related field and have solid grounding in one or more systems methodologies including, but not limited to, AI/ML, optimization, stochastic modelling, statistics, game theory, financial engineering, and simulation. Empirical, experimental, computational, and analytical research approaches are all welcome. Candidates must be committed to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels and to developing and maintaining an active research program.
