We are seeking a hands‑on Assistant Operations Manager to oversee day‑to‑day housekeeping operations in a hospital environment. This role focuses on service delivery, manpower management, compliance, and client satisfaction, ensuring all contractual requirements and service standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily housekeeping operations in accordance with contractual requirements and service standards

  • Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) are met and reviewed regularly

  • Plan and manage manpower requirements, including staff deployment, induction, training, and retention

  • Lead and supervise housekeeping teams to ensure high service quality and productivity

  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, hospital policies, and workplace safety regulations

  • Conduct risk assessments and coordinate emergency procedures when required

  • Act as the main point of contact for client coordination and operational matters

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness

  • Monitor effective utilisation of equipment, materials, and labour resources

Job Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Management, Facilities Management, or a related discipline

  • 2-3 years of relevant operations or supervisory experience in a healthcare, hospital, hospitality, or facilities services environments.

  • Strong people management skills with experience handling frontline operational staff.

  • Good understanding of service contracts, compliance, and operational procedures.

  • Able to work in a fast‑paced and demanding hospital environment.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.

  • Proactive, hands‑on, and service‑oriented mindset.
