We are seeking a hands‑on Assistant Operations Manager to oversee day‑to‑day housekeeping operations in a hospital environment. This role focuses on service delivery, manpower management, compliance, and client satisfaction, ensuring all contractual requirements and service standards are consistently met.
Manage daily housekeeping operations in accordance with contractual requirements and service standards
Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) are met and reviewed regularly
Plan and manage manpower requirements, including staff deployment, induction, training, and retention
Lead and supervise housekeeping teams to ensure high service quality and productivity
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, hospital policies, and workplace safety regulations
Conduct risk assessments and coordinate emergency procedures when required
Act as the main point of contact for client coordination and operational matters
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness
Monitor effective utilisation of equipment, materials, and labour resources
Diploma or Degree in Management, Facilities Management, or a related discipline
2-3 years of relevant operations or supervisory experience in a healthcare, hospital, hospitality, or facilities services environments.
Strong people management skills with experience handling frontline operational staff.
Good understanding of service contracts, compliance, and operational procedures.
Able to work in a fast‑paced and demanding hospital environment.
Strong communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
Proactive, hands‑on, and service‑oriented mindset.
