Assistant Operations Manager (Chemical)

Working Hours: Mon–Fri, 9:30am–6:30pm

Salary: $4,500 – $5,500

Location: Tampines

Benefits: AWS, Bonus, 10 days AL

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations from order processing to production and delivery.
  • Coordinate with Production and QC teams to meet quality, cost, and delivery goals.
  • Plan production schedules and manage materials with purchasing and inventory teams.
  • Liaise with Business Development on new projects, fragrance variants, and samples.
  • Update stakeholders on order status, lead times, and production progress.
  • Ensure products comply with internal, IFRA, and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor yields, material usage, and workflow efficiency; suggest improvements.
  • Supervise customer service team for smooth order and dispatch operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Diploma/Degree in Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in fragrance, cosmetic, or chemical manufacturing.
  • Hands‑on, organized, and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of ISO, GMP, or IFRA standards is an advantage.
