Job description

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the Nurse/Care Manager to provide quality nursing care aligned with established policies and standards.

• Implement patient care in partnership with multi-disciplinary teams, taking into account assessed needs and health conditions.

• Facilitate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges while following up on progress and care plans.

• Monitor patient conditions for early signs of clinical deterioration and elevate concerns as necessary.

• Actively engage in multi-disciplinary team rounds and execute treatment and investigation orders from physicians promptly.

• Prepare and assist with bedside procedures and treatments as directed by physicians.

• Communicate patient progress and treatment responses within the multi-disciplinary team framework.

• Demonstrate clinical knowledge and critical thinking in delivering nursing care.

• Assist nursing teams in addressing patient and clinical operational issues, escalating to senior management when needed.

• Provide education to patients and their families regarding disease management, prevention, and rehabilitation.

• Support cost‑effective resource management in line with budgetary guidelines.

• Monitor and improve compliance with infection control practices.

• Plan and conduct in‑service training sessions for nursing staff and students to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

• Lead the implementation of nursing initiatives in collaboration with various stakeholders.

• Evaluate the clinical performance of new nursing staff and students, providing constructive feedback and documentation.

Requirements:

• Advanced/Diploma in Nursing and/or bachelor's in nursing is preferred.

• Valid nursing license with the relevant regulatory authority.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Senior Staff Nurse in a clinical environment.

• Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and problem‑solving skills.

• Strong understanding of clinical workflows in community hospitals and long‑term care settings.
