A healthcare recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a Senior Staff Nurse who will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to provide quality nursing care. The candidate must possess a valid nursing license and a minimum of 2 years experience in a clinical environment. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, facilitating admissions and discharges, and providing education to patients and families. Strong clinical knowledge and judgment are essential for this role.
Collaborate closely with the Nurse/Care Manager to provide quality nursing care aligned with established policies and standards.
Implement patient care in partnership with multi-disciplinary teams, taking into account assessed needs and health conditions.
Facilitate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges while following up on progress and care plans.
Monitor patient conditions for early signs of clinical deterioration and elevate concerns as necessary.
Actively engage in multi-disciplinary team rounds and execute treatment and investigation orders from physicians promptly.
Prepare and assist with bedside procedures and treatments as directed by physicians.
Communicate patient progress and treatment responses within the multi-disciplinary team framework.
Demonstrate clinical knowledge and critical thinking in delivering nursing care.
Assist nursing teams in addressing patient and clinical operational issues, escalating to senior management when needed.
Provide education to patients and their families regarding disease management, prevention, and rehabilitation.
Support cost‑effective resource management in line with budgetary guidelines.
Monitor and improve compliance with infection control practices.
Plan and conduct in‑service training sessions for nursing staff and students to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Lead the implementation of nursing initiatives in collaboration with various stakeholders.
Evaluate the clinical performance of new nursing staff and students, providing constructive feedback and documentation.
Advanced/Diploma in Nursing and/or bachelor's in nursing is preferred.
Valid nursing license with the relevant regulatory authority.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Senior Staff Nurse in a clinical environment.
Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and problem‑solving skills.
Strong understanding of clinical workflows in community hospitals and long‑term care settings.
