Job summary

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cutting, metallurgical preparation and microstructure/corrosion assessment of metallographic specimens;
• Preparation of etchants and etching of metallographic specimens;
• Perform RCA/troubleshooting on equipment or erratic test results;
• Ensure maintenance, including calibration of testing and measuring equipment is up-to-date and in proper order;
• General laboratory housekeeping;
• Perform measurement uncertainty, method validation, test method assessment, test method validation etc. as and when required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma/Degree in Material Science or any related fields;
• Willing to perform rotating shifts;
• Experience in aerospace field is a plus;
