Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

Joining us as an Assistant Innovation Manager means playing a pivotal role in shaping how we innovate across the organization. You will help craft transformation roadmaps, strengthen governance, and lead initiatives that connect business units with emerging technologies and ecosystem partners. From facilitating dynamic workshops to managing innovation projects, you will be at the forefront of driving change and embedding innovation into our culture.

Innovation Governance & Delivery
  • Consolidate project updates and insights to maintain a clear view of the innovation portfolio.
  • Engage closely with cross-functional stakeholders from business units to external partners in aligning innovation priorities, secure buy-in, and maintain clear communication throughout project lifecycles.
  • Where required, take direct ownership of selected innovation projects acting as product manager to drive execution, align stakeholders, and deliver measurable outcomes.
Open Innovation & Ecosystem Engagement
  • Lead the end-to-end management of open innovation program under Mandai Living Innovation Lab initiative, ensuring challenge statements are clearly scoped, solution sourcing is effective, and outcomes are adopted into business operations.
  • Partner with business units to uncover root causes, define clear problem statements, and guide teams through structured problem-solving via Lean. (Internal business innovation and optimisation)
  • Represent the organization in ecosystem events and strengthen its visibility in the innovation community.
  • Build and maintain relationships with innovation agencies, accelerators, and ecosystem partners.
  • Support the administration of innovation grants, events, and showcases (eg. innovation forums or festivals).
Emerging Tech & Experimentation
  • Drive innovation culture initiatives anchored on the Mandai Innovation Behaviour framework, with a focus on cultivating an experimental mindset. Encouraging business unit to test, learn, and adapt ideas.
  • Monitor on emerging technologies and trends that are relevant to the organization.
  • Continuously identify business challenges and innovation opportunities through trend scanning and stakeholder engagement.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 1–2 years of experience in innovation management, digital transformation, or startup ecosystems.
  • Proven experience in managing projects, programs, or partnerships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
Preferred Skills & Attributes
  • Familiarity with design thinking, agile delivery, or lean methodologies.
  • Experience with innovation platforms or startup engagement tools.
  • Excellent facilitation, stakeholder management, and storytelling skills.
