As the Assistant Manager - Talent Acquisition, you will play a pivotal role in executing and refining recruitment strategies to secure top talent for Econ Healthcare Group. Reporting to the Senior Manager - Talent Acquisition, you will oversee the recruitment lifecycle, support employer branding initiatives, and assist in mentoring junior team members.
Responsibilities
1. Strategic Recruitment & Execution
- Assist the Senior Manager in developing and implementing talent acquisition strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Mentor the junior Talent Acquisition (TA) team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Maintain relationships with hiring managers and HR Business Partners through strategic partnerships; assess talent requirements and advise on approach, market nuances, and challenges where necessary.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for local and overseas positions, ensuring a diverse and qualified applicant pool. Manage the entire hiring process from initial sourcing, screening, and interviewing to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Manage the hiring of temporary staff to ensure operational demands are met during peak periods.
- Manage recruitment channels including job portals, walk-in interviews, recruitment agencies, and referrals. Support bulk-hiring, recruitment events, talks and open houses.
- Analyse local labour market trends to identify innovative sourcing methods.
- Maintain a robust talent pool to meet the projected talent demand.
2. Employer Branding & Outreach
- Execute employer branding strategies to position Econ Healthcare Group as an "employer of choice".
- Execute campus outreach and employer branding activities.
- Partner with Marketing team to create engaging recruitment content for social media and professional platforms.
- Represent the organization at career fairs, industry talks, recruitment drives and educational institutions to build a sustainable talent pipeline.
- Lead the creation of recruitment collateral, such as banners and props, to enhance visibility at events.
- Support the Career Ambassador program to encourage employee referrals and promote a positive corporate image.
3. Data & Compliance
- Expedite the pre-onboarding process by facilitating candidate registrations with regulatory bodies like the SNB (Singapore Nursing Board) and AHPC (Allied Healthcare Professional Council).
- Ensure all pre-employment compliance is met, including thorough background and reference checks.
- Utilize data-driven insights to monitor recruitment metrics on hiring velocity, bottlenecks, and candidate pipeline health to provide data-driven insights to stakeholders and improve hiring efficiency and quality.
- Support in providing data reports for Management review.
- Manage data consistency and ensure sensitive data comply with current legislation and internal requirements.
- Support audits and internal reviews related to hiring practices.
- Participate in related projects and provide support in general HR.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in in-house Talent Acquisition, with demonstrated progression in responsibilities.
- Good understanding of employer branding and sourcing strategies.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Proficiency in using various recruitment platforms, social media, and professional networking sites to source candidates.
- Experience in promoting jobs in various social / professional media platforms.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Familiar with local and overseas hiring regulations is required, familiar with healthcare-related regulatory requirements are strongly preferred.
