A community-focused charitable organization in Singapore is looking for an Assistant Manager (Strategic Partnerships and Communications) to enhance stakeholder engagement and support the development of low-ability autistic young adults. Connexions is Singapore’s first outcome-based centre supporting low-ability autistic young adults through structured vocational, life-skills, and community integration programmes. We are expanding our impact through innovative social enterprises, caregiver engagement, community partnerships, and purpose-driven communications.
We are seeking a dynamic and people-centred Assistant Manager (Strategic Partnerships and Communications) who can strengthen our ecosystem, tell our stories authentically, and build meaningful relationships with stakeholders, while also being deeply involved in supporting our Learners’ development and caregiver communication.
Connexions is working towards Charity status.
Develop, manage and grow strategic partnerships with corporates, community organisations, schools (e.g., Grace Orchard), government agencies and social enterprises.
Coordinate collaborations for training, guided employment, inclusive hiring, events, fundraising and programme expansion.
Prepare partnership proposals, decks, grant applications and impact reports.
Develop and execute Connexions’ communications strategy and content calendar across social media, website and public channels.
Craft compelling stories that reflect Connexions’ voice; empathy, authenticity, community values and grounded optimism.
Plan and execute campaigns for programmes, events, social enterprises and fundraising initiatives.
Oversee branding, design, media work, publicity materials and stakeholder messaging.
Ensure consistency of tone, values and inclusive language across all platforms.
Support Learner development by:
Monitoring attendance, engagement and behaviour during programmes.
Working with instructors to track Learners’ progress in social skills, life skills, vocational tasks and community participation.
Assisting during activities, community outings, events and production tasks.
Communicate regularly and professionally with caregivers regarding:
Progress updates
Behavioural concerns
Attendance issues
Home support strategies
Build strong, trusting relationships with caregivers and learners to support long-term development.
Assist in planning and executing events, community activations, inclusive celebrations, exhibitions, and product launches.
Support the operations of Connexions’ guided employment pathways and social enterprises when needed.
Provide administrative and logistical support across programmes.
Contribute ideas to enhance Connexions’ visibility, donor engagement and public education.
Support documentation, data collection and outcome tracking to strengthen Connexions’ outcome-based model.
Uphold safeguarding, safety, confidentiality and ethical guidelines at all times.
