Assistant Manager, Sales and Services

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager, Sales and Services.

In this role you will:
  • Ensure operational efficiency and safeguard the bank from potential losses; ensure operational procedures are maintained and complied with.
  • Oversee and manage daily cash management operations, guide Customer Service Associates, and Escalate any financial crime or operational risk issues.
  • Encourage staff to cross‑sell / make referrals.
  • Provide prompt, efficient and professional service.
  • Help staff achieve high motivation and performance standards.
  • Minimize complaints and attend to all promptly.
  • Ensure mail and telephone enquiries are handled promptly.
To be successful you will need:
  • Diploma holder or general banking knowledge and experience gained through rank‑and‑file progression.
  • In‑depth knowledge of banking systems with broad knowledge of general banking practices, financial products and services.
  • Ability to supervise, coach and groom team members.
  • Possess interpersonal communication and customer handling and selling skills.
  • Create an environment that motivates staff and supports achievement of personal goals and business objectives.
