Overview
The Assistant Manager of Manager of Marketing Communications & Fundraising supports DOT’s mission by helping connect people to purpose—through thoughtful storytelling, well-executed campaigns, and meaningful engagement. This role reports to Head of Fundraising and Publicity.

The role works closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure campaigns, events, and donor engagements are delivered with care, consistency, and integrity. Experience engaging young women aged 17–35 is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Communications, Publicity & Events (≈60%)
- Support the planning and execution of marketing and fundraising campaigns across digital and offline channels
- Create and manage day-to-day social media content, including copywriting, basic design coordination, posting, and engagement monitoring
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors or agencies on campaign assets, timelines, and deliverables.
- Create and curate digital assets (videos, graphics, posts) to amplify programme outreach and impact stories, aligned with FR priorities.
- Support media-related work such as drafting media materials, coordinating interviews, and preparing spokesperson briefs
- Assist in the planning and on-the-ground execution of fundraising and public events, including logistics, vendors, and post-event follow-up
Fundraising & Partner Support (≈40%)
- Support individual donor fundraising campaigns, including digital appeals, EDMs, and community initiatives
- Assist with donor stewardship activities such as acknowledgements, updates, and appreciation gestures
- Maintain accurate donor records, pipelines, and campaign data in CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce)
- Support relationship management with individual donors and selected partners through timely coordination and follow-ups
Team & Organisational Support
- Support preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation for internal meetings and committees
- Work closely with programmes and operations teams to translate impact stories into clear and respectful communications
- Uphold governance, compliance, and data accuracy in all fundraising and communications activities
- Contribute positively to a collaborative, values-driven team culture
Qualifications & Competencies
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related fields, or equivalent experience.
- Strong passion for women’s empowerment and social impact
- Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, fundraising, events, or partnership roles
- Strong written communication skills with an eye for clarity and tone
- Comfortable with hands-on execution, coordination, and follow-through
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital engagement
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Canva, and CRM systems
- Experience engaging young women (17–35) through campaigns, content, or community work is an advantage
- Knowledge of Singapore’s charity sector is a plus
