Job summary

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience in quantity surveying and/or construction work or contract management of construction projects.
  • Possess good knowledge of local standard conditions of contracts for engineering or construction projects.
  • Knowledge of market unit rates is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in contract administration including budget forecasts, cost estimates, and reports.
  • Ensure contracts are administered according to executed contract documents.
  • Follow-up with stakeholders to adhere to company policies and project requirements.

What You'll Do:
  • To assist in contract administration which include cash flow/ budgetary forecasts, cost estimates, cost data analysis, tender evaluation, processing of payments, claims, variation orders and preparation of reports and approval papers
  • To ensure that contracts are administered in accordance with executed contract documents
  • Follow up with key stakeholders to ensure the processes and contract administration follow company policies and adhere to project requirements
What You'll Need:
  • Degree in Building/ Construction Management/ Quantity Surveying or a related discipline from a recognised university
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience in quantity surveying and/ or construction work or contract management of construction projects
  • Possess good knowledge of local standard conditions of contracts for engineering or construction projects and knowledge of market unit rates
  • Able to work under pressure and cope with tight deadlines
  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills
