Qualifications

Job description
Warehouse
  • Assist warehouse through planning, developing and/or implementing warehouse safety & security programs/ activities, and planning of warehouse layout to maximize efficiency of storage space
  • Assist inventory operations by conducting weekly supply planning to maintain inventory levels at the right levels and reconciling monthly inventory report
  • Source for options for warehouses and develop proposal for senior management’s consideration
  • Resolve extraordinary issues and, if necessary, elevate to senior management
  • Negotiate with and manage contractors to coordinate operations
  • Monitor compliance to workplace safety rules & regulations and 5S housekeeping methodology
Distribution and Delivery
  • Conduct weekly delivery schedule planning for deliveries to restaurants to maximize efficiency
  • Assist distribution and delivery operations
  • Plan and oversee schedule maintenance of delivery feet, equipment and resources to maintain road worthiness
  • Evaluate the need for ad-hoc deliveries and authorize the dispatch of drivers
Quality Assurance & Control
  • Monitor compliance to FSSC22000 standards, in particular the maintenance of integrity of cold chain and segregation of raw & cooked food during delivery
  • Work with other departments to determine QA standards and specifications for handling, storage and delivery
  • Assist quality control activities in line with quality assurance standards and procedures
  • Monitor compliance to SOPs and safety regulations
People Management
  • Determine staffing requirements and support the interviewing, hiring and training of new employees
  • Develop plans and measures to track and review departmental performance and devise performance enhancement plans
  • Plan leave schedule for department and approve leave & claims required by staff
  • Conduct periodic staff meetings for open communication within the team
  • Manage issues and concerns raised by staff and elevate them to senior management as appropriate
  • Provide reports to senior management on overall performance of the department
