RESPONSIBILITIES
ACCOUNTABILITY

You will be accountable to the Manager, Finance. In the absence, you will be accountable to the Head, Finance.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Financial Management and Reporting
  • Responsible for assisting in budgeting, financial planning including cash flow management and analysis of the financial performance of the group.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion in all areas of financial and management accounting activities including but not limited to monthly, year-end closing of accounts, audited financial statements and accounts schedules.
  • Assist in preparation of financial reports and necessary materials for presentation, as needed.
  1. Stakeholder engagements
  • Establish collaborative business partnering relationships with various business units and lead the team in improving existing policies and processes and transform it through the active adoption of digital tools for better efficiency and costs savings.
  1. Finance operations, systems and processes streamlining
  • Assist to provide supervision over the Finance operations, to review and ensure its quality and accuracy.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to enhance workflows of the department to drive continuous productivity improvement on accuracy, efficiency and simplicity.
  • Support and contribute to systems implementation projects and its change management tasks.
  • Support new and on-going projects to enhance Finance process and controls.
  • Ensure compliance with organisation policies, boards, councils’ decisions, and government statutory legislations.

  1. To carry out any other duties as assigned by Management from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree in Accountancy with ACCA/CPA or other professional accounting qualification
  • 5 - 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
  • Preferably with knowledge of charity and/or non-profit finance experience
  • Proficiency in Oracle Fusion, MS Office applications (Advanced Excel skills) and data visualisation tools will be advantageous
  • Good internal and external stakeholder management skills
  • Possess strong sense of responsibility, initiative with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Positive attitude with a strong desire to learn
  • Resilient and confident in management of ambiguity
  • Fast learner who can work independently and as a team
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise projects/task
