Job summary

A leading defence technology company in Singapore is seeking an Engineering professional to conduct technical activities related to precision munitions. The role involves developing technical documentation, troubleshooting complex systems, and managing projects. Ideal candidates would possess a diploma in Electronics, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering and have strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

  • Able to interpret schematics, technical manuals, and drawings.
  • Hands-on approach to engineering challenges.
  • Preferably with valid Class 3 driving license.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct technical and engineering activities related to precision munitions.
  • Develop and review technical documentation.
  • Conduct troubleshooting for mechanical and hydraulic systems.

  • Develop and review technical documentation, including maintenance manuals, repair procedures, and engineering change requests.
  • Conduct technical analysis and troubleshooting to resolve complex engineering challenges in mechanical and hydraulic systems.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to optimize maintenance schedules and inventory management.
  • Manage projects to ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality and compliance with industry standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending process enhancements and cost-saving measures.
  • Provide leadership and technical guidance to junior engineering staff, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma in Electronics/ Mechatronics/ Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • Able to interpret schematics, technical manuals, and drawings for assembly and maintenance works.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to use analytical skills and a "hands-on" person.
  • Good interpersonal skills, proactive and work well with others.
  • Preferably with valid Class 3 driving license.
