PR Singapore is part of Pernod Ricard APAC, which covers Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia and Philippines.

Job Summary

Reporting to Associate Director FP&A of PR Singapore, the Assistant Manager, FP&A of PR Singapore Cluster will need to be a hands‑on team player covering the operational monitoring of financial performances for P&L and B/S relying on a deep sense of analysis and a good understanding of the Company and the Group’s Business challenges.

This role will be responsible for assisting in the financial decision‑making process by providing relevant financial insights and analysis, contributing to the overall financial health of the company.

This role will be a key contributor to the on‑going Transformation journey.

Key Responsibilities
Mission 1: Production and submission of PR Singapore’s Cluster monthly reporting (P&L / BS)
  • Responsible for end-to-end monthly closing process.
  • Ensuring compliance with procedures and Group accounting guidelines, deadlines and formats (data loaded in the Group reporting tool Polaris).
  • Responsible for the accuracy, timeliness and consistency of financial information reported.
  • Prepare management reports for PR Singapore's cluster performance to analyze variances against targets, from volumes down to Business Profit performance, with channel/product granularity, etc.
Mission 2: Managing the preparation and submission of PR Singapore’s Cluster monthly/quarterly Rolling Forecasts and Strategic Plan
  • Develop modelling solutions to support the planning processes.
  • Preparing financial performance forecast based on information collected from marketing teams and information provided by brand companies in accordance with the Group’s instructions.
  • Challenging forecasts provided by sales and marketing teams.
  • Analyzing gaps between forecasts and comparable data available (previous year/budget, as relevant) and preparing comments for Singapore’s management.
  • Coordinating the preparation of the slide deck to be presented to APAC CODI during business reviews meetings + in charge of the finance part preparation.
Mission 3: Transversal Business Partnering
  • Advising and assisting PR Singapore’s cluster management, commercial and marketing teams in their day‑to‑day business requirements.
  • Challenging and controlling data (monthly reporting, rolling forecasts and Strategic Plan processes).
  • Monitoring the company’s actual spending vs monthly reporting, rolling forecasts and Strategic Plan processes.
  • Monitoring the company’s actual quarterly cashflow, rolling forecasts and Strategic Plan processes.
  • Providing ongoing support to PRS business analysis teams in relation to monthly reporting procedures & Polaris, as well as rolling forecasts and Strategic Plan processes
  • Be proactive in terms of improvement of financial processes and existing analysis regarding the activity and the performance of PR Singapore.
  • Active involvement in business projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
