Job summary

A leading automotive service provider in Singapore is seeking an experienced Finance Manager responsible for maintaining financial records, overseeing daily accounting transactions, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in accounting, a degree in Accountancy, and be proficient in financial reporting. Strong leadership skills and knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards are essential.

Qualifications

Job description
What you’ll be doing
  • Maintain financial records and oversee daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Perform monthly and yearly financial closing.
  • Prepare financial reports and consolidation packages.
  • Ensure compliance with audit, tax, and GST requirements.
  • Liaise with external parties such as auditors, bankers, and secretarial agents.
  • Monitor cash flow, support budgeting activities and financial analysis.
  • Review work of junior team members and assist in mentoring the team lead.
  • Work with other departments to resolve finance-related issues.
  • Support process improvements and perform ad-hoc finance tasks.
What we are looking for
  • ACCA or relevant degree in Accountancy
  • At least 5 years of experience in handling full set of accounts, with minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, Corporate Tax, with extensive background in GST rules & regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word
  • Meticulous with high level of integrity, independent, strong team player and has good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Effective time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Prior experience in SAP B1, process documentation and auditing will be an advantage
  • Automotive experience is preferred but not necessary
