Responsibilities
Internal Communications (40%)
Work with the Marketing/Communications Manager to:
- Contribute to all content marketing initiatives (web pages, videos, blogs, paid advertorials, print collaterals, etc.) to drive traffic, engagement, and quality leads.
- Contribute to the creation of landing pages by working with design agencies and marketing colleagues.
- Raise the profile of GSG through relevant content based on school activities, events, and USPs.
- Manage content vendors to achieve the best outcome for GSG.
- Write and proofread copies such as scripts, speeches, and articles to reflect key messages, features, and benefits of the GSG.
- Write and distribute press releases as required.
- Organise, prepare, and storyboard photo/ video shoots.
- Create content for prospects looking for schools.
- Provide marketing support: prepare talking points, presentations, webinars, podcasts, and other material as needed.
Stakeholder Relations Responsibilities (40%)
Work with the Marketing/Communications Manager on:
- Execute the GSG internal/external communications strategy for stakeholders including current parents, students, and alumni.
- Establish and build relationships with stakeholders, newsmakers, and influencers to support school events and activities.
- Plan and execute events involving alumni, parents, students, and faculty.
Corporate Communications/PR (20%)
Work with the Marketing/Communications Manager to:
- Share GSG’s brand story in unique and compelling ways across all owned channels, including newsletters, EDMs, the website, videos, infographics, editorials, social posts, and the school portal.
- Help drive thought leadership in the educational space.
- Support the MarCom team in planning and delivering communication initiatives and projects.
- Provide communications support for internal stakeholders.
- Assist with day‑to‑day communications tasks such as newsletter creation, crafting email advisories, proofing, photo taking, event coverage & planning, and ad‑hoc advice to colleagues.
Requirements
To generate content ideas that would interest our stakeholders, you are expected to:
- Proactively keep abreast of the school’s events and news.
- Read and research features and articles.
- Verify information and interview sources.
- Write, edit, proofread, and sub‑text.
- Attend relevant school events, fairs, and conferences.
