A government agency in Singapore is seeking a candidate to drive strategic marketing initiatives for its Aviation Academy. This role involves promoting SAA to both local and international trainees, developing projects to raise its profile, and leading outreach activities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in marketing, strong leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills. A contract for 3 years will be offered, with potential for renewal or permanent placement.
The Singapore Aviation Academy (SAA) is the training arm of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore. It drives capability development for the Singapore air hub and provides capacity building for the international community. To ensure SAA’s continued relevance and to establish it as a centre of excellence for aviation knowledge, the SAA is undergoing a transformation of curriculum and learning spaces.
Reporting to the Deputy Director (SAA), you will work closely with Senior Management to drive strategic projects and new initiatives to bring SAA’s capabilities and standing to the next level. You will be responsible for marketing and outreach efforts and initiatives to promote the Singapore Aviation Academy to local and international trainees. You will also develop and implement projects and events to amplify SAA in the Singapore and international community, making use of the space for events and community outreach activities. Key projects include:
Proven track records in implementing marketing and outreach initiatives and engagement activities in an organisation / academy / institution of higher learning; Adept in marketing and social media platforms; Versatile self-starter with strong leadership qualities, particularly in developing a high performing and engagement culture, and cross-functional management skills; Strong strategic mindset, analytical and problem-solving skills; and Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills. Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or a contract renewal.
